Fayetteville Dogwood Festival

The Fayetteville (NC) Dogwood Festival is the city’s marquee event and one of the biggest in the Southeast, featuring a midway/carnival, food vendors, live entertainment, inflatable/bounce houses, arts and crafts, a classic car show, street fair with shopping, and lots more fun for the whole family. Usually, the last weekend of April.

 

Underwater Music Festival

Divers and snorkelers can explore the only living coral barrier reef in the continental United States while jamming out to a unique sub-sea concert. This year it is on July 7th and 8th.

 

Gilroy Garlic Festival

The Gilroy  (CA) Garlic Festival is one of the largest food festivals in the United States, held annually in Gilroy, California on the last full weekend in July.  This festival is all about garlic. Besides the typical garlic bread, garlic fries, etc., you can also try interesting dishes like garlic ice cream.

 

Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta

The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is a yearly festival of hot air balloons that takes place in Albuquerque, New Mexico, during early October. The Balloon Fiesta is a nine-day event, and has over 500 balloons each year. The event is the largest hot air balloon festival in the world

 

 

Buffalo Wing Festival

National Buffalo Wing Festival or wing fest is a weekend festival held at Coca-Cola Field in downtown Buffalo, New York, United States, celebrating the Buffalo style chicken wing. The festival is held on Labor Day weekend and culminates with the Buffalo Wing eating contest.
